My interactive installations and performances, exhibited in North America, Europe, and Asia, make frequent use of brain-computer music interface (BCMI) technology and have explored themes of consciousness, interpersonal resonance, emotional communication, ecopsychology and nature connectedness, causality and emergence in complex systems, and the concept of “audience as performer.” I am also a musician and singer/songwriter with a penchant for folk music, bossa nova, and enchanting instrumental melodies from the deep forest and mountains.

Developed EEG paradigm, and methods in harmonic analysis, multivariate statistics, single-trial classification, and C++/MATLAB interface for real-time data extraction from the BioSemi acquisition hardware into MATLAB.Statistical analysis for a project exploring the role of prefrontal-extrastriate preparatory attention networks in response error commission.
