About Randy Ross
I have a very diverse background. When possible, I love to preach! I have worked in corporate Information Technology for more than two decades, I ran my own business as the I. T, Department for small businesses who could not afford their own I. T, Departments. Later, I joined a rescue squad as a hobby. Soon after joining the rescue squad, my business failed and the hobby became a job. I quickly discovered that working as a Paramedic was hours of boredom punctuated by moments of sheer terror, laughter, joy and excitement. For me, the satisfaction in being a Paramedic was not in a good call. Yes, it is a great joy to know that there are times I can intervene and save someone's life. However, the more regular joy occurred by just listening to my patients and possibly making them smile. I found that most often, the best medicine was helping someone laugh. Shortly after being employed as a Paramedic, my talents and diverse experience in I. T. were revealed and I was often drafted into odd jobs in the county's I. T. Department. The times when I was 'drafted' became more numerous until I found myself working for months without touching a patient. For a time, I was the county's Network Administrator, though only being paid a Paramedic's wage.
Listed skills include Paramedic, Desktop Application Support, Desktop Hardware Support, Windows Server, and 7 others.
