I consulted with Kamalashila Initiative, a start-up organization, on services ranging from branding, mission iteration, strategic planning, fundraising, operations, program management and web design.

Program/Project Oversight & Management: the Field Program Director (FPD) is in charge of ensuring that the organization's field programs are efficiently executed in alignment with the goals and mission of the organization. The FPD provides many forms of support and guidance for program leadership, leads programming in-the-field, coordinates projects, and develops long term program goals and initiatives.Grant Writing, Budget Development & Management: the FPD develops and oversees the budgets of all field programs in close collaboration with VWA's Executive Director and program leadership. The FPD raises program funding through grant proposals and manages a diverse portfolio of government and foundation grants throughout the lifetime of their varying grant cycles.Community Partnership Cultivation: the FPD identifies, cultivates and maintains, new and existing community partnerships with local and regional entities who collaborate on projects and programs within each of the organization's field programs. Program Evaluation: the FPD directs program evaluation efforts by identifying Key Performance Indicators for all field programs and develops metrics tracking systems utilizing Excel, Google Sheets, and SalesForce. They are responsible for collecting demographic information and soliciting both quantitative and qualitative participant feedback. The FPD compiles and analyzes this data to measure the success of programs in collaboration with program leadership and prepares quarterly reports to the Board of Directors. Outdoor Leadership: the FPD leads or participates in field programming, providing administrative and technical support and leadership. Field outings include facilitating culturally relevant youth wilderness immersion experiences and volunteer-based conservation and stewardship projects on public lands.The Field Program Director reports directly to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

The Senior/Lead Operations Associate at Rinse is responsible for ensuring a world-class experience for the customer at the point of pick-up/delivery each and every night.This role wears two over-arching hats: (1) San Francisco Valet Community Manager; and (2) Service-Delivery Team Lead.San Francisco Valet Community Manager: Is the main point of contact for the SF Local Valet (Driver) Community. Responsible for continued Valet performance management, scheduling, and being the main point of contact for all Human Resource issues. The SF Valet Community Manager also works closely with Rinse's Tech team in a product management capacity, consulting, advising and relaying feedback on major and minor tech improvements to the Rinse Valet mobile app. Finally, the SF Valet Community Manager works hand-in-hand with the Corporate team to advise and assist with implementing new programs.Service Delivery Team Lead: Is the customer-facing branch of internal operations. Service Delivery Team Lead works closely with San Francisco's General Manager to ensure execution of internal operations at a high level. This entails daily performance management of internal operations team, and continually taking a critical eye toward all internal processes in order to gain efficiency, and develop practices and creative solutions. The Service Delivery team lead also reports out on key performance indicators and uses data-driven analysis to inform decisions. Furthermore, the Service Delivery Team Lead works closely with the Tech team in a product management capacity to help inform technical updates to Rinse's internal system and processes. The Senior/Lead Operations Associate position necessarily entails a high degree of organization and attention to detail. Senior Ops Associates must be able to communicate at a high level and maintain grace and poise under fire in a high-pressure environment with daily fast-approaching deadlines.

As a research and writing Fellow for the Tibetan Center for Human Rights & Democracy (TCHRD), I conducted specialized research on international human rights law, focusing on China's domestic and international policies. My main focus was writing the chapter on the international human right to freedom of assembly for the Center's 2014 Annual Report on the status of human rights in Tibet.
