I have an unconventional, interdisciplinary academic training allows me to understand life science technologies, plus a versatile and transferrable skillset in data analytics. This has allowed me to pursue a wide-variety of projects from bioinformatics and public health research, to Python package writing and geospatial data visualization. I enjoy seeing scientific developments and discoveries make a social impact, and I aim for a career which facilitates the transition between scientific research and improved healthcare services. I also care deeply about bettering strategies for promoting scientific literacy and awareness amongst the general public, and using my skills for the greater good. My lifelong goal is to be an autodidact - to be competent in whichever skill that interests me, and be humble enough to learn from others no matter what age I am at.
