I am a data protection and privacy law specialist, with over 14 years of experience. As the Head of Legal (Data Privacy Advice) at the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), I advise on new and developing areas of privacy law, with the aim of safeguarding and empowering people and organisations in the digital age.My work has helped to directly shape the UK data protection landscape, reforming laws and changing the ways businesses and public authorities process and share data. I have led on data protection issues for the UK Government, delivering key provisions in the Data Protection Act 2018 and helping to secure the UK adequacy decisions after Brexit.
