I have single handily developed and maintained a suite of integrated applications—that Finantix (consisting of approximately 150 employees) uses to collect, store, manage and interpret data from many of the business activities. The environments were developed using the IBM Notes platform and are accessible via the IBM Notes Client, web browsers and remote mobile applications (useful for employees working at client locations).The environment consists of over 100 IBM Notes databases to allow the management of client projects, scheduling, task management, expenses, client support service, requirements, change requests, travel expenses, contacts, invoice tracking, client trouble tracking and client support. Most databases interact with each other allowing the automatic creation of excel\word reports and release notes used by management for project forecasting. Apart from accessing the environment via the IBM Notes Client, it was also accessible via a web browser. This was originally done with using the HTML functionality of IBM Notes, but with the release of IBM Notes 8.x, XPages were developed. All knowledge of IBM Notes was gained through self training.Most recently I have been implementing a Atlassian Jira/Confluence environment in which to migrate some of our internal procedures to. This has involved the development of Jira Projects with their relevant workflows and schemes. Jira 'Add-ons' that are in use are ScriptRunner, Tempo Timesheets, Portfolio & JSU (Suite utilities for Jira).
