I am a technologist at heart with a background in self-driving cars, efficient algorithms and innovation driven development. I've authored the 14th chapter in this textbook (https://www.intechopen.com/books/control-theory-in-engineering) on the topic, and have given guest lectures at Cardiff University on this and other topics. Following this, I pursued a career in entrepreneurship with consulting CTO/CPO roles at the same time for a variety of startups and scaleup's across Europe. My main interest is driving innovation, and Systems thinking/Problem-solving. My first venture was ARTIMUS, a Development Venture studio where we created and designed 50+ intelligent systems & products for clients and startups across the Uk, in sectors such as Mar-tech, Fintech, medtech and proptech. I grew this business from just myself to a team of 8 and ~500k revenue in 3 years. Across the last 7 years, following my Certified scrum master qualification, I have also consulted as a technology advisor/CTO/CPO to a variety of companies across Europe within the AI, medtech, prop tech and fin tech sectors, Mainly focussing on product development, adoption of new technologies, algorithm design, and technology strategy as a whole. I brought software products to market, managed teams of up to 25, Annual software budgets up to £1.2m, and helped cut software budgets by up to 40% in some cases. In April 2019 I developed and founded Marketmate, The Artimus team moved to this in late 2019 following a successful investment round of ~£200k (https://www.business-live.co.uk/technology/six-figure-funding-boost-cardiff-17384344). MarketMate is a platform that intelligently creates automated social media content from scratch, using natural language processing to select rich user content for social media content creation, at a fractional cost of a traditional marketing agency, with clients such as Nestlé, GS Verde group, and more. I successfully exited the business in April 2021 and moved to Gibraltar. Alongside giving guest lectures at Cardiff University, I also co-founded a meetup community called AI Wales (meetup.com/ai-wales) which we grew from 0 to >1000 Members in 3 years, facilitating the influx of knowledge in Artificial intelligence and surrounding technologies to a location that, at the time, had little insight on the topic. I frequently gave talks about different topics on a monthly basis at these events. Since moving to Gibraltar, I consult on projects which I find innovative, which use advanced methods of artificial intelligence to stay at the forefront of technology.
