I am currently a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship, studying MA Music and Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.During my time at university I have been involved in a number of extra-curricular activities such as Universal Voices; a free children's choir, as well as being the President of the Initial Teacher Training Society from 2022-23 which I co-founded. Understanding the importance of education as a workforce as well as a necessity for children, I worked as a teaching assistant to further develop my understanding of teamwork in the classroom. This gave me a real insight into the professional world of teaching and what everyone can do to really maximise the experience of the young people going through education.
