Chartered Management Accountant with over 20 years accounting expericence in the commerical world. I provide a wide range of finance-related services to small, fast-moving entrepreneurial businesses. Clients have no need for a full-time FD, as I do the work but on a part-time basis and backed up by other accountancy professionals offering the same service I have access to wide range of expertise and experience.Whilst the exact nature of what I do varies from client to client, the 2 main aspects are:- Managing the administrative aspects of the accounting function - Providing the directors and managers with the strategic financial advice they need to make the right decisions on maximising profitability and building shareholder value. By becoming deeply involved in the business, it possible to identify the issues and opportunities that need addressing, to bring them to the attention of the directors and managers who run the business, to give guidance on the best way forward and to implement the decisions made. Fundamentally, I help the directors and managers to ensure that the potential of the business is optimised. As a Chartered Management accountant I tailor my service to the needs of each individual client. In most cases, providing regular services of between 2 and 6 days per month, plus any one-off services that are required (acquisitions, financing, exit negotiations etc).
