I have a unique background with experience working for large manufacturing companies as well as a member of small innovative start up company that literally reinvented the wheel! I have had the opportunity to work in the role of research and development as a lab technician for over 25 years. My specialties are creating accurate prototypes, product and material testing, developing testing and manufacturing equipment, and quality control expertise. I've been recognized by senior management for "Drive Innovation" through excellent investigation and insights leading to team wide clarity of critical test results.As a team member of Resilient Technologies and Bridgestone Americas:• I served as integral member of a small team with a start up company developing the first commercially available non pneumatic ATV tire.• I was also relied on for assisting launching production of a commercial lawn mower tire of our design.• I was a key player in collaborating with the world's largest tire manufacture to break into new markets with non-pneumatic tire designs.• Training new team members and streamlining the new production process in Akron OH allowed me to remain a vital member of the team for months after the Wausau WI facility was closed. As a team member of Weathershield, Peachtree, Crestline, and Vetter Windows and Doors:• I was the sole team member tasked with designing, prototyping, and testing a new window wall concept utilizing an all fiberglass extrusion.•Traveling to Dade County Florida, I worked with a third party test lab to obtain Hurricane Test Certifications for our product line. • Some of my primary roles included working as an interface between design engineering and manufacturing engineering ensuring the production of high quality product.• One of my secondary roles involved building show quality displays and assisting in setting up booths for trade shows every year.
