Provided engineering and design support for General Motors of Canada's Oshawa Car Assembly Paint shop.Designed and supervised the fabrication and installation of several conveyor, robot cell and carrier retooling projects as well as paint booth modifcations and work station rearrangements. Transfered paint shop mechanical drawing files from Cadam to AutoCad. Mentored engineering students assigned to the paint shop. Coordinated projects using union skilled trades and outside contractors. Provided maintenance solutions to production equipment failures. Provided continuance improvement through the implementation of new technologies. Responsible for Plant Layout updates.Responsible for the maintenance of mechanical conveyor and building AutoCad files.

Responsible for engineering support of all conveyor systems including Body, Paint, Trim and Chassis at the General Motors of Canada Scarborough Van Plant. Projects included: Design and installation of additional accumulation buffer between the Paint Shop and General Assembly in order to have a common start time for entire plant. Engineered the reduction of the engine line and provided supervision support while the work proceeded. Provided maintenance support for conveyor systems including: Tire Room modifications. 3 Rail conveyor carrier modifications. Final Line pallet repairs. Oven conveyor maintenance support. Phosphate and elpo overhead converyor repairs. Roll Test machine installation.Implementation of new technologies.
