Mr. Chase is a registered mechanical engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine. He has over 30 years of experience in the design, commissioning, evaluation and optimization of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial buildings.Mr. Chase’s design portfolio includes healthcare facilities, laboratories, military facilities, office buildings, airports, manufacturing facilities, educational facilities, correctional facilities, and central plants. He has extensive experience with new construction and retrofits as well as design/bid/build, design/build, and design/assist procurement. He has been involved in several “teaming” projects. His designs are practical, efficient, and easy to maintain.Mr. Chase has completed projects in climates as diverse as Fairbanks, Alaska, where the temperature drops to –60F, to Dubai, UAE, where the summer conditions reach 120F and 85% relative humidity. These projects have given Todd a solid background in HVAC engineering.Mr. Chase has extensive expertise in healthcare facilities, including considerable work related to building and room pressurization, whether in cleanrooms, operating rooms, protective environment rooms or infectious isolation rooms. He has designed imaging suites that house MRI, CT scanners, x-ray machines.
