Develop and maintain Army Chief Information Officer policies, assess the policy needs of theCIO, and provide staffing and management of draft policies and standards. Provide policy guidance to IT management, staff, and customers. Serve as lead for and support projects and/or teams ensuring the rigorous application of information management/information technology policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of planning and management services.

Utilizing media to build awareness among internal and external stakeholders of strategic initiatives impacting the US Army and Department of Defense. Coordinating stratcomm events for Army CIO/G-6 to include General Officer/Senior Executive Service/Command Sergeant Major Summit and LandWarNet 2012.

Assisted in rolling out new Knowledge Management initiatives. Some of these include synchronization of USASCoE Web presences, leveraging experience and technology to streamline tasking process, establishing a system to reward KM initiatives at USASCoE.

Produced materials to inform internal and external audiences about the initiatives of the CIO/G-6. Products included - but were not limited to - press releases, blog posts, and pamphlets. Helped produce radio panel discussions, government/industry conferences, and workshops.

Manage 8-member copy desk; edit copy for publication; plan and supervise production of News, Life&Style, Business, Forum sections of Sunday editions (95,000 circulation); design layout of daily (85,000 circulation) and Sunday News section.
