Managed a team of Field Service Representatives (FSRs) who collect observational store data in retail markets for the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) Industry. Each week FSRs visit retail stores and scan data, using a computer & barcode scanner, for IRI internal & external clients. FM responsibilities included interviewing, hiring, training, troubleshooting & auditing the team. Also managed FSR’s – utilizing online evaluation tools & processes that showed data completeness, quality, production, & performance. Managed 30-40 FSRs, & 1-2 TL’s in multi-state region. Saved 19% against 2008 budget. Saved 43% savings on 2009 budget.Role of Sr FM is inclusive of regular FM responsibilities. Sr FMs are also involved with corporate personnel including project teams, technical support, and the delivery group. Communicated with clients, international team members, senior management, HR personnel and field team. Also assigned personal initiatives to be developed and rolled out to the field. As a Sr FM my team included up to 113 people, including 9 Trainer-Lead FSRs. Managed across 17 states. First initiative for 2009 included development of a dashboard that measured FSRs nationally in 8 key metrics utilizing current available reports. Another initiative was to reassess the roles of key positions within the field.
