Mr. Jones joined Greystone in January 2024 as Chief Investment Officer of Greystone Real Estate Capital LLC. In this capacity, he works directly with the CEO, COO, and other members of the senior team to develop and execute on the company’s overall investment and syndication growth strategy. Specifically, Mr. Jones will have direct responsibility for leading a team of originators nationally to source, structure, and negotiate high quality LIHTC transactions, as well the investor capital team responsible for asset selection, fund placement, structuring, marketing, and management of all key institutional investor relationships. Mr. Jones has over 20 years of affordable housing experience, where he has been involved in raising more than $11 billion of institutional capital for tax advantaged investment funds. Prior to joining Greystone, Mr. Jones served as the Head of Tax Credit Equity Production at Boston Financial, where he was a member of both its Executive Committee and Investment Committee, and was responsible for leading the day-to-day strategic direction of its tax credit syndication business with direct oversight of its national originations platform, asset selection, pricing, structuring and marketing of its tax credit equity funds, as well as all investor sales and relations activities of the firm. Mr. Jones joined Boston Financial as Director of Institutional Sales in 2012 with primary responsibility for identifying and securing institutional capital for all multi-investor and proprietary fund offerings. In this role, he oversaw the fund marketing and sales activities of the firm, as well as the day-to-day management of all broker-dealer relationships, growing the firms annual equity raised and closed from $180 million to $1.4 billion. Prior to joining Boston Financial, Mr. Jones served as Vice President and Manager of Institutional Sales at PNC Financial Services Group where he led the sales and marketing efforts of its national Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) investment funds. Mr. Jones received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Bellarmine University, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma. He has also held Series 7, 39, 63, and 79 securities licenses through FINRA.
