-Manage a quality control inspection team in the Grid/Rod area which support the manufacturing of grids and rods for nuclear fuel-The responsibilities of my position include: supervising a shift of 20 full-time hourly inspectors -Hiring, training, and scheduling inspectors based on the daily/weekly objectives-Coordinating all work activities to ensure all appropriate priority demands were met and providing feedback to internal customers-Account and approve of time in time management systems.-Evaluate skill requirements of inspectors to align with any deficiencies, and reinforce employee development and training.-Apply analytical skills to production or equipment issues within department and initiate plant wide corrective action.-Lead process improvement projects to improve operational lead times with a Safety first mindset-Responsible for developing and implementing production tracking sheets throughout the department that increased inspection throughput by over 60%-Responsible for developing Leader Daily Standard Work sheets for all Team Managers on each shift throughout the department.-With the implementation of the tracking sheets and improving throughput over 60%, this allowed the department to greatly reduce OT cost from 30%+ to under 10%.

-Product preparation and assembly of nuclear material while ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment-Perform on-the-job training and evaluation to confirm that other team members are safe and adequate workers.-Operate all area equipment, monitor process control instruments, and troubleshoot equipment in one functional area-Take corrective action to operate the various department processes within established parameters and specifications as outlined by operating procedures.
