Chosen to participate in Sunland's Leadership Development Academy which is designed to identify and develop leaders within Sunland through a consultant led 9 month training. Skills developed included self-evaluation, peer evaluation, crucial conversation, negotiation, presentation, and installing change.

Responsibilities included maintaining and creating relationships throughout the Eastern US that lead to business opportunities involving construction and maintenance of oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids infrastructure.Worked in collaboration with Sunland's Utica Division to support the development of natural gas and natural gas liquids infrastructure in the Marcellus/Utica shale basins.

Travelled extensively throughout the US and internationally to military installations, customer locations, conferences, and manufacturing facilities leading to more than $50,000,000 in Altec product sales to the US Air Force, US Army, US Navy, US Marine Corps, DHS, FBI, DEA, ATFE, and other various Federal Government organizations.Selected to attend 2010 and 2011 Altec President's Club recognizing Altec Account Managers for their outstanding sales effort.Managed relationships leading to the sale of various products supporting US military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.Led product development teams to create proposals/prototypes on US Army sub-contracting opportunities for defense contractor Navistar Defense.

Managed and completed extensive modifications to Altec's General Service Administration and Defense Logistics Agency contracts in order to update product offering and adjust pricing. Carried out quoting and placement of orders within Altec's Oracle based order management system for all Federal Government customers.
