Lucy is the CEO and Founder of LION Software a technology and training company aimed at making science more accessible. She is also a PhD candidate in the Nature Inspired Chemical Engineering (NICE) group at UCL where she writes and designs software. She programs in Python, JavaScript, HTML, MatLab and R. Lucy has also won over 20 awards and scholarships including the Gold Medal for achievement in (Honours) Chemistry for the highest graduating average, three 3 Minute Thesis competitions, two RSC poster prizes and the John Roberts Prize for excellence in undergraduate research.She has over 10 years of teaching experience as a senior post-graduate teaching assistant for UCL global management masters, senior post-graduate teaching assistant for undergraduate labs, university organic chemistry teaching assistant, Y7 & 8 chemistry teaching assistant, children's pastor, dance teacher, piano teacher and private tutor. She holds dual citizenship in both the UK and Canada and has worked and studied in both countries.
