Ensuring that permit obligations are met to a variety of local, state, and federal agencies through submission of written scientific reports. *Point of contact for Washington State's first wildlife overpass project and responding to citizen inquiries regarding this project. Monitoring the success of the county's numerous wildlife underpasses and overpasses and analyzing data and metrics related to these structures. *Road Service's representative on the inter-agency Beaver Management Policy Work Group currently underway with King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks and Water and Land Resources Division.*King County Department of Transportation’s wildlife only overpass project was completed in late 2013. The 120-foot long, 40-foot wide overpass, spanning across NE Novelty Hill Road (east of Redmond, WA), is the first of its kind in the state of Washington. I was responsible for monitoring the overpass for wildlife activity, ensuring that the vegetation plan was successful and updating statistical parameters regarding wildlife use.

*Speaking as a wildlife and wetlands expert, I gave lectures on the intricacies and relationships that wetlands and wildlife share, discussed the current issues surrounding the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and solutions to avian conservation, and how to improve wildlife movements through reconnecting fragmented habitats by designing, constructing and obtaining grant money for various types of types wildlife crossing structures. *Advisor to students on potential research topics for the Program's required practicum component and assisting in editing and grading practicums.*Question/answer session with students on wildlife/wetland issues that are of importance throughout the United States, with focus on the habitats and wildlife in the Pacific Northwest region.
