Responsible for overseeing strategy, administrative direction, evaluation and coordination of the functions and activities of the company related to Real Estate transactions, leasing, operations and development of the HCA Medical Office Building portfolio. Supports the growth and operational objectives of the company by executing on the real estate portion of those projects. Ensures all operations are in compliance with HCA company policy and applicable laws and regulations including Stark and Anti-Kickback statutes.Oversees the HCA Corporate Real Estate department which consists of a team of 20 real estate professionals with various market and regional areas of responsibility. Also responsible for the company's Asset Management program, which consists of four 3rd party national property management firms with over 200 combined employees dedicated to the HCA account with a portfolio almost 400 MOBs totaling 15,600,000 square feet of medical office space and the Master Lease program with over 23 million square feet of leased space as tenant.Provides guidance and strategic decision support to hospital, Division and Group administrators regarding facility Real Estate needs.Maintains company’s real estate assets at appropriate standard through strategic use of the various capital funds dedicated to Medical Office Buildings. Reviews, approves and oversees the implementation of projects designed to keep HCA controlled buildings competitive within their respective markets.Provides senior management various performance metrics of the department’s area of responsibility including financial performance of the Medical Office Buildings
