Team Lead - Employment Services - Calgary Transit
CurrentLeader of Recruitment, Employee Development and Training Teams. Coordinate and participate with management in all aspects of the recruitment and selection process. Actively participate and guide the performance management of employees from succession planning to discipline. Oversee all aspects of training within Lrt, Bus, maintenance and Calgary Transit Access. Lead safety initiative programs to help support safety messaging to employees in all divisions within Calgary Transit. Using knowledge of recruitment trends and advertising platforms to work with the Manager of Employment Development to develop an advertising strategy to recruit applicants for various positions within Calgary Transit. Interpret the collective agreement, corporate policies and legislation and advise Recruitment Officers on impacts and appropriate application. • Work strategically with business partners to identify opportunities for internal and external candidates and provide advice on efficiencies outlining benefits and concerns.
