A newly created position managing the marketing team at NZ Home Loans based at their head office in Hamilton, NZ where we support the 80 franchises through-out NZ. NZ Home Loans is owned by Kiwi Group Holding (who also own Kiwibank one of the main banks in NZ). New Zealand Home Loans provide its clients with a managed loan and the tools and consultant support to help them clients become debt free faster and have the freedom to make lifestyle choices. We focus on helping clients get out of debt rather than providing them with more debt. Four years ago we joined New Zealand Home Loans as clients and are a strong believer that it can make a huge difference in people's lives. In 2012 the Company was awarded the Deloittes Fast 50 award as the fastest growing mature business in the Central region of New Zealand and this growth has continue with New Zealand Home loans achieving record sales. This is a great achievement especially considering that some 80% of its new business comes from client recommendations.

Management of the Charter segments of the airlines business. This serviced the requirements of the various resource sector companies who rotated their staff on a FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) basis both around PNG and internationally. These companies included Exxon, Oil Search, Simberi Gold, Newcrest Mining and others.

Management of all of the sales, business development and marketing for the organisation which was approximately 90% export focused. This included working with clients from small operators in remote locations like Papua New Guinea to large multinational companies such as BAE and L-3 and government organisations such as the USAF. Many of these requirements involved extensive tendering processes both directly to the end user and in partnership with others. The role included extensive product demonstration at airshow and tours with the aircraft to developing markets. One of the key initial projects was the rebranding of the company and its key products with the subsequent launch of a new website and supporting marketing collateral. This clearly established a point of difference in the market for the aircraft.

Initially the role was established to be the champion for Fitzroy Engineerings joint bid with the VT Group in the UK for the NZ Navy's $500m "Project Protector" requirement for up to seven new naval vessels. In this capacity I worked closely with the tendering group at VT and established the NZ Industry Involvement content for the response including going out to tender for various items required for constructing some of the vessels in New Plymouth. Flowing on from this was the joint bid for Fitzroy and VT to partner in taking over the running the NZ Navy main dockyard in Devonport, Auckland for which the company was successful and still retains the contract. Simultaneously I worked to generate business in the Taranaki area for the various divisions of 350 staff Fitzroy Engineering and to develop new marketing materials in support of this.

ADP Industries was a niche manufacturer of aviaiton and defence products with over 90% of the revenue generated from export sales including to the USAF Foreign Military Sales programme. In this capacity I was solely responsible for working with numerous organisations including Kongsberg Defence, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, USAF, USN, RAAF, ADI in a business development and tendering capacity. The contract secured ranged from design, testing and manufacture of missile storage and shipping containers to contracts for the supply of aircraft ground support and maintenance equipement including to the air forces of US, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, Taiwan, Turkey, UK, Spain, etc.
