Manage all administrative aspects of a Neighborhood Prosperity Initiative (NPI) Program, including purchasing, record keeping, and accounting. Address systemic inequities that affect communities of color and work towards a more diverse and equitable community in Oregon. Work on economic development strategies that build upon the Jade District’s existing human and economic assets. Develop and conduct ongoing public awareness and education programs and participate in speaking engagements, media interviews, and public appearances to increase the visibility of the Jade District. Develop and maintain data systems to track the success of the NPI program, including tracking all district businesses, jobs, commercial vacancies, and volunteer hours committed to the program. Develop and monitor annual budgets and financial records. Help devise and implement organizing strategies to achieve organizational and other campaign project goals. Maintain close relationships with coalition partners, public officials, small business resource allies, and diverse allied constituencies at the regional and state level. Work with a diverse group of individuals and partners, with focus on low income API communities, communities of color, immigrants, refugees and youth.
