Leading a shift of 25~30 Production Technicians processing raw ingot grown in our own Crystal Growing facility into Photovoltaic ready wafers. The Crystal Growing/Wafering Department takes raw virgin silicon and grows our own ingot, squares the ingot, grinds the ingot and slices the ingot into wafers. After the ingots are cut into wafers we clean, grade and sort the wafers so they can be processed in the Cell area. I coordinate the flow of product into the Crystal Growing/Wafering area and work with the Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure production targets, quality and preventative maintenance needs are met. I assign daily work assignments to the Production Technicians and ensure training goals and product specifications are met daily.

Supervise 30~38 Manufacturing Technicians and direct flow of material in and out of the Photo area. Schedule and Coordinate all Equipment / Engineer’s tool needs along with production needs. Responsible for MT training and ensure protocols are followed. Experienced with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Kronos, SAP and Microsoft Outlook. Additional responsibilities include payroll, employee reviews, and daily presentations.
