While participating in this startup I was involved with the development of technology which is used to identify and harvest unstructured, open-source intelligence. Through my experience at BrightPlanet I had many opportunities to bolster my knowledge of open-source intelligence as well as application and database architecture.

At CNA Surety I was involved heavily in the migration of the firm's software architecture from the mainframe world to web-based applications. I was fortunate to be able to experience first-hand the ups and downs of moving from one framework to another. During this time the focus of my work was mainly on Java programming and reporting tools and looking back, it was an outstanding place for a kid out of college to start his career in technology.
