Supervised and worked with a team of consultants in designing, developing, implementing and supporting POS, Store System and other products to support the Strategic Initiatives at a variety of clients, including The Bon Ton Stores Corp., The Limited and Northrop Grumman. The Bon Ton Department Stores Corp.Lead Application Architect and Project Manager on the development of a Point of Service (POS) System. Designed, Developed, Implemented and Supported solutions on the POS, Tandem (HP) NonStop and Web for:• EMV/Encrypted Payment processing utilizing NCR Connected Payments Software • POS support for a variety of Payment Terminals from Verifone, NCR, and Ingenico • Interfacing to the ADS-Alliance Data System for Private Label Credit Card Processing, including new Account Creation and Customer Loyalty Card processing• Interfaces to Sterling Commerce SOM (Store Order Management) Java client allowing for access to POS Peripherals (Scanner, Printer, Payment Terminal)• PCI DSS Compliance Enhancements utilizing NuBridges and Comforte API’s• Custom Loyalty System, ‘Love Style Rewards’ for users of all payment tenders at POS• Custom eReceipt processing at POS interfacing to Experian CheetahMail.• Peripheral Management Service at POS with a Web Sockets Interface. Allowed for Store Initiatives of Buy Online Pickup at Store and Stock Locator to be developed as Angular Web apps that could interface to the POS peripherals (Payment Terminal, Printer, Scanner, MSR) and interface to iOS iPad apps • Integration of Price Check Kiosks deployed at the store running on Motorola MK2200, NCR 7454 and Paige Units.• Implementation of new Price Lookup Server System.• Implementation of Staffing/TimeClock solution iTimeClock from SAP / Staffworks.• Integration of software to support The Bon Ton Stores acquisition of the Northern Department Stores Group from Saks in 2006. POS replaced existing CMA (Cornell Mayo) POS Implementation at the Northern Department Stores Group.

Responsible for creating technical program specifications and developing and testing application programs to support Foreign Exchange Trading for NationsBank. Projects included development of new interface applications to Foreign Exchange System, including an HTML Web-based front-end to existing Tandem (HP) NonStop back-end system. Experience with COBOL, Enscribe and Enform, and RDF in a Pathway Environment on Tandem (HP) NonStop Hardware.

Consultant assisting in the development of a distribution center system for The Elder-Beerman Stores Corp., a regional Mid-West Retailer. Duties included coding and testing software and training the development staff in using Tandem (HP) Non-Stop SQL. Experience with COBOL, SCOBOL and SQL Development in a Pathway environment on Tandem (HP) Nonstop Systems.

Responsible for developing and implementing support policies for Fourth Dimension EasyPath/TFS code generator. Duties included telephone support, development of education and product reference materials, and creation of product demos for use in supporting the technical sales staff. Experience with COBOL, SCOBOL and SQL in Pathway Environment on Tandem (HP) NonStop Systems.

Involved in all phases of development on REMIS, an Air Force project to collect world-wide reliability and maintainability data. Duties included the coding and testing programs and the development of program specifications. Experience with COBOL, SCOBOL, SQL, TAL, and Pathway Programming on Tandem (HP) Nonstop Systems.
