Todd Hart is a Dallas based designer specializing in print, web and product design. Since graduating from the Communications Design program at the University of North Texas in 1985, Todd has worked as a graphic designer and art director for Pannell/St.George, Jim Jacobs, and Eisenberg & Associates. During his 5 years working for these firms, Todd learned the business of graphic design, and helped to transition the firms into the digital age using some of the first Apple computers. Even while excelling in his career responsibilities, Todd produced numerous paintings, had three exhibitions, and designed and produced a collection of custom furniture. In 1990, Todd co-founded focus2 brand development, where under his direction, focus2 evolved into a broad-spectrum creative communications and brand development resource. In addition to traditional graphic design and advertising for companies such as id Software, Dickies, and Footaction USA, focus2 was an early pioneer of web site design and development—creating some of the first websites for major brands such as Herman Miller, Neiman Marcus, Nambé, Northrop Grumman, and Orrefors Kosta Boda. Over the next 22 years, focus2’s work garnered recognition and awards such as the New York Art Directors Club, American Center for Design One Show, Dallas Society of Visual Communications, Houston Art Directors, Communication Arts, Graphis, How Magazine, Print Magazine, and many others. While leading focus2, Todd has shared his knowledge base with future designers by serving as an adjunct professor for the Senior Portfolio Review class at the University of North Texas. In 2012, Focus2 Brand Development evolved into Todd Hart Design—offering traditional graphic design, web design and marketing services—with a new pursuit of product design. Located in Dallas’ historic Deep Ellum district, Todd Hart Design represents a select clientele located in 3 countries and across the United States.
