In April of 2009, I co-founded Essential Internet Marketing, LLC to start a business dedicated to helping small businesses and brands expand and optimize their digital presence. In my 3 years there, we went from a team of 7 with less than 20 clients to 50+ employees and 100+ clients, servicing brands from local small businesses to enterprise level Fortune 500 companies. My role(s) covered the following:SEO Specialist: Performed technical SEO audits upon new client onboarding, link building audits and development of link building plan, overseeing of link building budget and team responsible for the campaign.Team Leader: hired, trained, and led teams (of about 10) link builders; Worked with other team leaders to develop campaign load sharing protocols.
