I'd much rather be selling you a bottle of Farmhouse Ale. Maybe it was made with locally grown malts and fermented with a native yeast strain captured from a nearby orchard. Or perhaps you're looking for a natural wine from an off the beaten path location that showcases a nearly forgotten grape variety. Might I recommend an aged goat's milk cheese to pair with that? A fresh baked loaf of bread and a jam that captured the peak of last summer's freshness. That part all comes very easily, but when I have to be the product it's far less natural to me.I am incredibly proud of the work I have done, the people I have worked with and the numerous brands whose products I have stewarded to many satisfied customers. The independent small businesses that I've chosen to work for have allowed me to utilize a far greater number of skills than what will fit on a resume. I'm someone who loves analyzing a P&L, auditing inventory, meeting with new vendors, updating digital merchandising, building displays on the sales floor, crafting targeted marketing content and cracking open a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano all in the same day. Along the way I've been proud to exceed sales goals, introduce more efficient practices and lead team members in ways that have allowed them to excel in their careers.
