I was able to further develop my own self determination and work ethic as I was under no physical management and was therefore the only Dell representative in the entire store. As part of the Karndean Design Showroom team my most important and prioritised job was looking after customer and maintaining a very high level of customer service.My main job roles included: designing and creating flooring ideas for each indivudal customer, communicating those ideas across to that customer but also tapering the design to thier inspiration. Over the years I worked as both a part-time and full-time employee and got to learn the mechanics of the business whilst spending time in other department, gaining valuble experience in marketing, stock control and telephone sales and enquiries.From the moment I became a full-time employee, I set my sights on working my way up ladder. The key to this was to take on more responsilibilty and to put forward more of my ideas as to how I think the showroom could be better run for higher efficiency. This was soon recognised as I started to gain the title of supervisor on the weekend days that my managers were not in; entrusted with the opening and running of a highly expensive showroom at just 18 years of age.
