- Collaborated with Risk Control, Group Technology and the Credit Officer Group to onboard 700 counterparties onto the UBS Neo platform, leading to an improved client experience as trades could be processed without manual intervention- Helped minimise operational risk by performing time-critical daily reconciliations to identify and resolve payment breaks between risk management and trade valuation systems- Facilitated more efficient trading on the Emerging Markets desk by consolidating counterparty information and providing the team with immediate access to key client information required for trade execution- Took initiative to learn Visual Basic and then applied this learning to automate a number of Excel tasks used in the Tri-Optima trade compression process, resulting in a significant decrease in the time taken to perform the monthly exercise

- Identified a reoccurring issue with a credit card collections treatment and subsequently developed and presented a strategy proposal forecasted to deliver a minimum of £1m in impairment benefit- Designed a suite of monthly management information, enabling both the Collections and wider Credit Risk teams to more easily identify customer trends and develop strategy enhancements based on up-to-date and robust financial data- Built a credit card collections data-mart using SAS and SQL analytical packages, resulting in significant time savings and reduced complexity when querying customer data stored across multiple risk systems- Took responsibility for leading a charity team of 12 Industrial Placement students, raising £350 for Alzheimer's Society through donations at a quiz night, bake sale and video game competition
