Todd Marriott is the CEO/Executive Director of the Utah Telecommunication Open Infrastructure Agency (UTOPIA). UTOPIA is a group of 16 Utah cities that joined together to create one of the nation’s largest, fastest, most-robust fiber-to-the- premises network systems.A well-equipped telecom leader, Mr. Marriott has crated a valued and proven reputation for achieving record revenue growth, sustainable ROI, and double-digit sales growth in highly competitive and changing markets. His innovative strategies and tenacious attitude have resulted in phenomenal growth in both domestic and international ventures within the telecommunications, recreational, and manufacturing industries.Mr. Marriott’s entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his broad-based business background. He has catapulted several start-up operations into multimillion-dollar successes in short periods of time, structured numerous global marketing rights and acquisition deals using his exceptional negotiation skills, raised millions in capital, and more than doubled past employers’ customer bases and generated millions of dollars in revenues. Just before joining UTOPIA, he successfully orchestrated an acquisition with Blackwater, a major U.S. defense company. With over 13 years of corporate leadership experience, he is prepared for any challenge.Mr. Marriott received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and currently resides in Layton, UT with his wife and nine children, where he plays an active role in community and civic organizations.
