• Developed and supported an ASP.NET web site so association group owner can manage most all aspects of operations anywhere. Includes an action item list, a search feature for locating members, ability to approve/manage/revoke membership, pages to print invoices, email renewal letters, etc. Written in C#, VB.NET with data stored in SQL Server, utilizing CSS, JavaScript, LINQ, etc.• Streamlined and extended an existing e-mail messaging system to allow members to send millions of emails a month much more reliably using an ASP.NET solution written in C# and VB.NET. Added new console page to track various stages of a mailout to help owner better support his members.• Supported company's public facing web sites and the virtual and physical servers that run them. Included all aspects of IIS and SQL Server administration, data replication and created a disaster recovery approach.

• Worked primarily on Trakker, software that supports their core business – growing fee income for financial institutions. It is desktop software, sometimes distributed, with a configurable backend database - Jet or SQL Server. The final version of Trakker in .NET I worked on consisted of 10 libraries, 100+ classes, and several dozen front-end screens. Installed at hundreds of different financial institutions.• Ported all code from the original version of Trakker written in Visual Basic 6 to Microsoft VB.Net and C#. Included completing and testing all screens, and helping to develop new architecture for the business and database layers. This allowed us to much more easily add new features and integrate with diverse financial institution platforms.• Created an interface solution that allowed any number of Trakker workstations to communicate with a Symitar Episys host. It utilized .NET Remoting and a custom Windows service written in C#. Installed at dozens of institutions as a big improvement over their old manual process, keeping them better tied to Pinnacle.• Developed comprehensive data migration tool from the original version of Trakker to the most recent .NET version using ADOX and SQL. Included thousands of lines of code, plus custom stored procedures and views.• Dramatically sped up import process of checking accounts by applying transactions and streamlining code, improving speed roughly 95%. For some customers this meant running a process in three minutes instead of an hour and a half.

Created a comprehensive patient application and SQL Server database for a cosmetic surgeon's office. Tracked inquiries, sales progress, and all aspects of surgical and spa services provided. Included a medical record export that allowed all information to be exported. An interactive UI allowed the doctor to mark up exactly where on the face filler work like Botox had been performed.

Helped a national medical organization create and deliver to its doctors a Best Practices database that was ultimately used throughout the country. Allowed users to track every detail of a hair restoration surgery. Statistical reports allowed doctors to see how their approaches where similar or different from others throughout the organization.

Helped the company with a divestiture of oil and gas assets by providing relevant information to potential investors. Automated the reporting of financial information to Excel with a custom solution developed in Access, using dozens of queries and VBA.

The publisher allows the application to communicate data changes via Tibco messaging to several Dynegy core applications. Built entirely in Oracle with PL/SQL for the fastest possible execution time. Handled thousands of messages a day with no down time.* Primary developer on two interfaces to flow Counterparty and Contracts data into Dynegy’s gas scheduling system. Interfaces used Tibco products and were created using Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) on BEA WebLogic.* Created an interface between Dynegy’s Retail Power enrollment application and LodeStar using JSP, servlets, and JavaBeans.

* Sole developer on the Shell/Texaco Alliance Y2K Command Center web application that was used throughout the nation during the Y2K rollover period. The application supported both SQL Server and Oracle, in case one I had a Y2K problem.* Created other applications and web applications for searching, reporting, and updating various Y2K-related databases.

* Developed and maintained three independent web search engines using ASP, JavaScript, and SQL Server, so car dealers could better market their inventory. Added admin functionality for customers, which allowed the editing of photos and sales promotions online.

* Performed various database development and VBA programming duties for the A & D department in a $1.9 billion divestiture of assets. By meeting its numerous information requirements, the group saved millions of dollars.* Created an Access front-end to periodically download and summarize data from an Oracle database to exactly match the financial results of an important internal application.

Designed several applications that effectively tracked the receipt of several thousand medical documents, the subsequent audit of over two thousand claims, check-in/check-out tracking of medical document files, and a comprehensive on-line questionnaire used by auditors to detect overpayments in reviewed claims.
