I check out and repair the trucks prior to shipment to the Dealerships for delivery to the new owners

I ran a reactor that produced the base product for several products. I also weighted up the products used to produce MB1. I also loaded and unloaded product.I was also in charge on maintaining the equipment.

I was an Operator/Technician at the plant in central Ohio. The plant is on the site of Glatfelter Paper Mill and manufactures a raw material used in their paper making process.I was responsible for day to day plant activities, operating and maintaining of a computer controlled process, performing various quality control lab tests, loading and unloading of bulk products, as well as working in a team environment that promotes safety, clear communication, leadership, creativity and overall, continuous improvement for both the individual and the Company. I was also responsible for providing maintenance support to the facility. Duties included calibration and troubleshooting of process equipment, repair/replacement of valves, piping, pumps, screens, and motors, maintaining an inventory system, etc. Multi-trade skills, a working knowledge of computer systems, and instrumentation trouble-shooting, and repairs was required. PC skills were required for monitoring, administrative, financial, purchasing, and records keeping responsibilities. Qualifications included a solid education in computer based process control and several years experience working with computer based process control equipment and processes. My background in mechanical/electrical maintenance helped keep The SMI plant in a continuous 24 hour operation. I worked a rotating shift including every other weekend which included 12 hour shifts. Travel as a technical resource to SMI was required. Held responsible to deliver The World's Best Truck to the new owner. This included the following: Driving the truck on the test track to check the engine, transmission, steering, and braking systems. Upon leaving the test track I would proceed inside the building to begin a complete inspection of the interior, exterior, fit and finish, fluids, safety items, and warning devices. After inspection I would make final adjustments to the hood, fenders, and all doors. I would then perform any repairs or adjustments noted during my inspection.:Perfect Attendance 1998 thru 2000:Trained in QS-9000 Quality Assurance Program:Layoff of 2000 eliminated all of second shift.

We produced wheels for the big truck market. We also made front hub assemblies and drums assemblies for Ford and Chrysler.I ran several CNC machines while working here.I also helped in the shipping department.Was upgraded to forktruck driver when needed. :Perfect Attendance 1994 thru 1998:Frequently assigned by management as Line Leader:Available due to plant closing.
