About Todd Yarbrough
In my adult life, I have been a world traveler, a force for change in peoples lives and a role model encouraging happiness and fulfillment.I have spent almost two decades as a scuba instructor, teaching over 3000 people to dive and bringing many of them into the world of professional scuba instruction. In 2012, I became a PADI Course Director, and now work to teach divers to safely be SCUBA Instructors. In 2015, I earned the rating of Silver Course Director, which puts me into an elite group of only 153 Course Directors worldwide.Then, I became affiliated with DAN (Divers Alert Network) in the role of Field Coordinator. This unique position gave me the ability to encourage change in SCUBA Diving Safety on a much larger scale than ever before.At DAN, I directed a team of field representatives, fostering a team mentality focused on the benefits of the highest quality customer service and attention to sensitive issues. I also work on the development of special projects with Divers Alert Network such as presentation series, training programs and risk mitigation initiatives for dive centers across the country.In 2017, I opened a dive center with a good friend back in the Florida Panhandle, and enjoy the freedom to encourage professionalism in the industry and to conduct business on my own terms. I am a senior part of a team of the best and brightest that our industry has produced, and we work to grow the future members of the diving industry.I also maintain a position with Divers Alert Network as a Training Coordinator, working to help dive professionals utilize the tools that DAN provide.Specialties:-Leadership Development-Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams-Providing Exceptional Customer Service-Creating High Performance Teams-Talent Recruitment-Social Media Outreach
