Configuration and maintenance of Active Directory, DNS and Exchange environment. Configuration and management of VMware virtual servers supporting the above applications.

Evaluate, plan and deploy new hardware and software solutions to ensure the highest level of performance and support for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Key Contributions:§ Helped propose new software to management that was able to reduced Helpdesk Tickets by over 95%, saving hundreds of man-hours a year.§ Selected as the primary Windows Systems lead for enterprise-wide implementation of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.§ Worked with Microsoft consultant, US Army Corps of Engineers networking and information systems personnel to troubleshoot, test and develop policies governing the use of Groove collaboration software throughout the enterprise.

Provide comprehensive systems, desktop, WAN/LAN and telephony administration and support. Develop and apply network security procedures, policies and software to prevent network intrusion, protect against viruses and data corruption and reduce spam related emails. Develop and implement disaster policy to ensure maximum continuity of business. Ensure data is backed up and stored in a secure location. Respond to user requests and desktop support issues. Administer Microsoft SQL database, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 servers and Microsoft Exchange server. Configure VPN access to allow secure connections for remote users. Install and configure fax server for distribution of member information. Manage telephone system. Secure and maintain network communications between main office and remote site.
