Experienced Executive skilled in Internal Audit, Financial Audit, Compliance, Governance, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Information Technology and Audit Committee and Board of Directors reporting with a demonstrated history of working in manufacturing, retail, technology and the energy and utilities industries. Todd is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor. Currently, Todd serves as the Chief Audit Executive at Southern Company where he leads the internal audit function that provides assurance and advisory services focused on the top risks of the Company. Todd also served as the Chief Compliance Officer for Southern Company Services for a period of 18 months. He has worked on a variety of strategic projects for the Company outside of internal audit as well as enhancing the value and brand of Internal Audit. Previously, Todd was a Partner in PwC's Risk Practice based in Atlanta. In his 21 years at PwC, he provided internal audit, financial audit, risk management, compliance, business process and IT advisory and assurance services to his clients across the US and Europe. He was the Market Team Leader for the Atlanta Risk Assurance office. Todd was admitted to the Partnership on July 1, 2013.
