Palace Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) is a sports and entertainment company owned by Tome Gores. The company owns the Detroit Pistons of the NBAI joined PS&E in 2003 as a Marketing Intern and was subsequently promoted to Retail Marketing Coordinator. I monitored the compliance of all corporate vendor programs. I helped identify new customers service needs and implemented solutions to improve customer satisfaction. I contributed and planned various community events with corporate sponsors and with team members for the Detroit Pistons and Detroit Shock. In 2006, I was hand selected to be the Retail Marketing Manager. I was charged with overseeing the execution of all corporate vendor programs for Detroit Pistons, Detroit Shock, DTE Energy Music Theater and Meadowbrook Music Theater. I worked closely with vendors such as Kraft, Georgia Pacific and Acosta to up sell them on future business opportunities.For the purpose of addressing compliance issues and retaining business, I organized and produced the Operation of Management Seminars with several large companies such as Meijer, Walgreens, Spartan Stores and Ace Hardware. From 2007 to 2008, I served as the Corporate Sponsorship Account Executive, where I aggressively targeted and pursued new sponsorship business opportunities and maintained existing accounts for all PS&E entities: Detroit Pistons, Detroit Shock, DTE Energy Music Theater, Meadowbrook Music Theater and Oakland University.In terms of key accomplishments, I sold corporate sponsors on elements of TV, Radio, L.E.D., Internet, Promotional, Hospitality and Arena Advertising. I successfully developed a $2,000,000 corporate vendor program throughout the state of Michigan for the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Shock, DTE Energy Music Theater and the Meadowbrook Music Theater.
