I moved to N.C to run the business full time. After major improvements as well as operational, staffing, guest and driver enhancements the gate admissions grew by 50% within days of the announcements.. Race car count grew by 50% to an average of 120 cars. A difference of opinion as to how to continue to grow the business after the first season lead to my resignation. It was the most fulfilling business venture I had ever been part of and leaving was painful, but necessary because of the structure and on-going lack of capital commitment from funding partner.
