I am a professional whose experience span about fourteen years in First Bank of Nigeria Limited, covering auditing, investigation, quality assurance, and branch operations. I am a certified Internal Auditor (CIA) as well as an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and I have certification in risk management assurance. I have excellent analytical and communication skills. I am confident, diligent, resilient, self-motivated, articulate and a good team player. I am interested in governance, risk management, assurance, control, process improvement, continuous self-development and leadership. I am also interested in data analytics; this spurred the selection of business process and data analysis as one of my MBA modules.My activities as an auditor contribute to continuous improvement of governance, risk management and control procedures in my organisation.As fraud analyst, I provided insight into fraud incidents, thereby giving Management the requisite information to resolve fraudulent infractions and improve the control environment.I contributed to the maturity of the internal audit function in First Bank by monitoring compliance of audit engagements with the adopted methodology (underpinned by standards issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors). I also took up duties that were directed at enhancing the overall quality of the department’s activities.My diligence and leadership quality was recognised early on in my employment with First Bank as I was selected as part of the team to start off a new branch in 2009. I was appointed Head, Operations Support of Gbagada branch.I am a volunteer teacher and I enjoy facilitating trainings.I had a career break, for about 19 months (late January 2020 to August 2021), in pursuit of a post graduate degree (Masters in Business Administration) in the United Kingdom.
