As I was coming to the end of my third year placement working in the in-house university clinic I decided to get in contact with Bristol Bears RFC to see if there was an opportunity for me to gain additional BASRaT hours on top of my placement and studies. So far I have been working within the under 16s academy section, shadowing the main therapists during injury assessments and rehabilitation programs. Further to this I have been leading sections of the warm up for training, focusing on mobility and I have had the opportunity to work with the strength and conditioning coaches, laying down a platform for them to have the best chance at succeeding in to the Under 18s.

Second year university placement during the preseason of 2021/22 season in to the first two months of the season. Working as part of a rehabilitation team providing pitchside cover, clinical assessment, gym and pitch based progressive rehabilitation programmes.
