I also developed the standard fleet text and structure to ensure consistency throughout all instructions. I also provided day to day management of WI workload throughout the Engineering team to ensure adequate priority was given to WI review whilst not adversely affecting other work to support the fleet.• Support to Assurance of Mid-Life RefurbishmentI reviewed all assurance documentation submitted by the project team. I also had to ensure all work was completed within the allocated timeframe including ensuring all required data was collected.• Mentoring of other staffI spent time mentoring other staff on site to develop their technical competence in new fields of work and use of new equipment/software.• Management of Train Test Support to Major ProjectsI developed the control process and provided the ongoing management of station temperature logging work for VCP engineering. I also managed all the test support for the ongoing 95TS brakes investigation• Client for Upgrades WorkI represented the requirements of the maintainers and operators of the new D Stock RATs for the associated project. This included providing adequate liaison with the TTO Health and Safety reps to ensure the design was acceptable to them. I also ensured the design accommodated efficient maintenance to reduce costs and I developed the ongoing maintenance plans to ensure the maintenance fits with works on other trains to provide an efficient overall strategy for Rail Adhesion Train maintenance across the network.• Annual Leave cover for Train Test Manager Show less
