About Tom Atkins

I am an experienced maritime engineer, and as a founding director of AW Maritime I take great pride in the innovative and cost effective port and coastal engineering solutions we provide to our clients.Over the last 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working on a broad range of port and coastal infrastructure projects throughout Australia and internationally. Through these projects I've gained valuable port planning and design experience on major container, LNG and dry bulk import/export terminals, as well as smaller scale breakwaters, jetties, marinas, and shore protection works. I also have valuable dredging experience and have successfully completed lead roles on major multi-100 million dollar capital dredging projects.
