The focus throughout my career was the delivery and management of team based Organizational Effectiveness processes initially developed at Ault Foods. These processes included Training and Human Resources Management programs in the areas of leadership, management development, team building, and performance/change management and the delivery of generalist Human Resources services for conflict resolution and relationship mediation processes, and Organizational Effectiveness assessments. I also served as Chair of the WSPS Horticultural and Agricultural Advisory Committee and as a member on the WSPS Executive Advisory Committee.

Developing and facilitating strategic organizational effectiveness initiatives including leadership and professional development; incentive compensation; strategic planning; employee empowerment; development of standard operating procedures; and engagement; team building. As a representative of the horticultural sector, serves as a member of the Agriculture Advisory Committee for the Ontario Workplace Safety and Prevention Services.

 The design and development of the Ault Team Based Management System and Organizational Effectiveness initiatives delivered significant quantifiable operational improvements in cost and operating efficiencies, productivity, management of the environment, and quality Strong working relationships developed with the Conference Board of Canada, the Niagara Institute, and the Center for Creative Leadership The design and delivery of revenue generating Training and Development curriculum ($750,000 annually) in Management, Leadership, Change Management, and collaborative Union/Management relations Serving on the Ontario Premier’s Councils on Economic Renewal and the Organization of Work and the National Horticultural Value Chain Round Table (Chair - Labour Working Group Sub Committee) The co – authoring of a published study on Management Practice, Organization Climate, and Performance in the Journal of Applied Behavioural Science in 1997 The development of staff based mentoring and process facilitation models
