Carry out safety critical competence assessments and rules examinations as an agent for the route management team as necessary- Undertake safety audits of Stations and On Board Centres (including catering) to ensure all assessment packages are being carried out to the required standards and compliance with Avanti West Coast corporate safety standards- Investigate operational and occupational accidents/incidents involving the route team appropriately to identify trends, causes and potential solutions- Monitor and report safety performance on a periodic basis, providing information to the Route Executive, Safety Council, and appropriate front-line Managers, as necessary. Identify areas of non-compliance and provide recommendations on how to deliver best practice- Ensure that risk assessments are produced and reviewed, as appropriate.
