With over 10 years of experience working as a full-stack web developer and project manager, I have had the privilege of working with an amazing array of creative and multi-disciplined teams to create truly innovative and exciting products and ventures.My software engineering experience includes web development and programming over many years on the development of websites and web applications. Proficient with Node.js and PHP working with a wide range of libraries and frameworks including React, Vue.js, Next.js and Laravel.Significant experience as lead developer and project manager on a range of projects. In 2012 I set out as a freelance developer contributing to in-house development teams on a number of projects, and then in 2016 went on to found, as joint owner, the Milton Keynes based creative development agency, Makilo.During my time as a founding member of Etic Lab, I led and contributed to projects with a variety of customers, managing numerous projects, from rapid development sprints to major R&D programmes involving software robots deploying machine learning, neural networks and NLP methods. The latest of these was a two-year programme with a budget of a quarter of a million pounds, part-funded by Innovate UK, and involving multi-partner liaison.During the day you'll find me at the Makilo office situated next to the ancient Linford woodlands in central Milton Keynes, so feel free to pop down for a coffee and a chat.
