Initially brought in to develop six interactive games for a leading educational publisher. Working in tandem with Elektra Media's in-house designer, it was this project that gave me the opportunity to expand and grow my front-end development skills. I now consider myself experienced with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (jQuery). I also picked up a shed-load of knowledge covering cross-browser compatibility, responsive design and mobile/tablet devices. During a project to create educational videos, I also gain valuable experience for developing with Adobe Flash. This provided me with a strong grounding in ActionScript 3 and use of key products in the Adobe Creative Suite (namely Flash Professional, Photoshop and Illustrator). Not to mention, I also built the HTML5 interface to deliver the videos on major browsers, mobile devices and CD-ROM. And if that wasn't enough to keep me busy, I am also the Project Manager for a handful of publishing and quality assurance projects. This involves management of freelancer and in-house staff, budget and scheduling, and liaising with the client.
