• Administer Construction on JLG’s more complicated projects, implementing the intricacies of construction phasing over multiple bids.• Chair of JLG’s Quality Management Committee responsible to establish guidelines, set guidelines and ensure accurate and effective implementation of construction administration procedures• Administer construction meetings consisting of Owners, Engineers, Contractors, and Subcontractors• Responsible for overall site construction by interpreting plans, specifications, and inspections • Provide guidance and direction to contractors regarding project change orders, proposal requests, shop drawings, and requests for information • Provide guidance to bidders and staff during the bid process and leading bid openings • Manage project estimates by providing estimates during all design phases• Manage project contracts by creating and negotiating contracts for Owners, Architect, Consultants, and Contractors. • Establish and maintain overall project budgets• Provide billing information and collection for each assigned project• Responsible for the design teams assignment of producing construction documents• Provide work plans and assignments to staff dedicated to work on assigned projects • Write specifications that conform to the ND Century Code, and Federal guidelines
