I am currently an experienced Director within Advisory at KPMG in Adelaide specialising in Internal Audit and SOX. In this role I lead teams in the delivery of Internal Audit and SOX projects. The most exciting work delivered in this role so far was the successful delivery of a SOX Program for a large client. This included the successful delivery of the SOX program on time and in budget, meeting and exceeding Senior Management's expectations. Prior to moving to San Francisco, I worked for just over 8 years in Internal Audit at KPMG in Australia. During my time there I managed the Internal Audit accounts and led projects for a large Manufacturing and Financial Services client within the ASX200. In addition I delivered individual internal audit and management consulting projects for a wide range of clients from Financial Services, Utilities, Government and Manufacturing.I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other professionals. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite stage of a project is working with the client and/or Executive to understand his or her business objectives. As we go through the process it is amazing to see results of an internal audit be implemented and see the adopted efficiencies improve the organization. I have two Bachelor Degrees, the first in Commerce (majoring in Accounting) and the second in Banking and International Finance (majoring in Finance). I have also completed and am qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
