- Growing strategic relationships with organisations of influence and forming partnerships.- To assist in managing all communication, contact and strategy to youth and students.- Developing a group of 10-15 young people (Advocates) to support Open Doors’ campaigns through training weekends, trips abroad and tasks throughout the year.- Developing engaging resources (printed resources, videos, website material and social media)- Speaking engagements at festivals, schools, universities and private events promoting Open Doors’ vision.

- Assist manager in coordinating team members- To assist in providing 1-1 service to existing and potential supporters and volunteers. - Project management assistance- Maintaining effective contact with supporters and volunteers. - Data entry, analysis and presentation (Razors Edge and Excel).

- Helping write fundraising applications to a number of reputable trusts.- Market research – exploring possibilities of entering different sectors.- Events planning – helping organise the logistics of a number of large events hosting 30,000 people at a time- Providing information and helping to produce the Monthly News Letter.

- Completing 6 weeks of Standard Induction Training- To offer 1-1 support to young disabled adults in their homes or in the community.- Ensuring that support assessments and risk assessments are adhered to.- Maintaining clear, accurate records of support.
