I began my career in the trade magazine industry working for PMQ (Pizza Marketing Quarterly) in the US in 2000 with a degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Magazine Publishing and Public Relations. My previous experience in working in vegitarian and traditional American restaurants greatly helped me understand the needs of the average restaurant owner. As editor-in-chief I traveled extensively in the US, Canada, Italy, Germany, New Zealand and Australia interviewing and experiencing the problems and successes of pizza shop owners while attending various restaurant and pizza trade shows as well as countless pizza competitions. I initiated the launch of PMQ Canada and PMQ Australia in 2001 and 2002 respectively. As editor for PMQ Australia I was responsible for traveling to Australia and learning the industry. After realizing that the Aussie market needed someone to represent their needs full-time, I purchased the publication fromand became the owner and publisher in August of 2007. At that point I modified the mail lists, changed frequency, changed the title name to PMQ's Pizza Australia Magazine and improved editorial content.
